This is a demonstration of a redesigned themajlis.co.za. Everything on it is reproduced from the original site. It is not published by The Majlis and it is not indexed by search engines.
It holds every one of the 4,128 pieces on themajlis.co.za today, all 54 of their pages, 302 books, 169 publication issues and 295 recordings. Every piece is at the same address it has on their own site, so a link that works there works here.
Their words are not edited. What was removed is their site's own furniture, by a named rule, counted: the document viewer's controls, a repeated headline, a "Download full article" label, and empty lines. A script checks on every one of the 4,128 pieces that no word of theirs went missing.
Text taken out of a PDF is used for search only. It is never printed as though it were their prose, and a search result says "Printed in this document" rather than quoting it.
